Welcoming. Spacious. Warm. Real. Even Holy–  are some words my students use to describe their experience in my class. I invite you to breath, feel, and meet yourself where and how you are. I love to link movement and breath, set to music from Deva Premal to Outkast and between, yet my deepest passion is to hold space for you to be still, get quiet, and listen to the powerful voice within.

I am a certified teacher through Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level. Teaching since 2006 and with more than 7,500 hours of hands on instruction; I am registered at the experienced level. I have additional training in Yin, Restorative, and Teen Yoga and am working toward my 500 hour via Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts.

My family is sacred to me. Equality and justice are sacred to me. Community is sacred to me.  Atlanta and the Westside in particular are sacred to me. My favorite ways to chill are resting in savasana with my son Oyetunde’s head against my heart, watching Portlandia with my husband, and writing.
