R E S T O R E . Is a four day/ three night all inclusive retreat led by Octavia Raheem at The Thanksgiving House at Elohee in North Georgia. Our location is a private, rustic luxe cabin situated by a mystical waterfall.

Meet your retreat team:
Retreat curator and lead teacher Octavia Raheem will guide you through up to eight hours of profoundly restorative and revelatory Rest based yoga, Yoga Nidra, and slow flow sessions to restore your body, your natural within, and pace. All of Octavia’s sessions will focus on restoring your heart.
Dr. Tiffany Johnson, resident meditation teacher will get your mind right in her accessible, spacious, and insightful workshop, Meditation to restore and renew your mind and inner vision.
Ona Hawk, resident yin yoga teacher will speak to the wisest and most ancient part of you in her grounded, calming, and reflective workshop, Yin yoga + breath work to restore your connection to inner wisdom.
Shana Nunnelly, resident sound healer, will soothe your soul in her transcendent, spirit led, and rejuvenating sound healing session, Restore your whole heart and soul.

Online Opening Circle | August 13, 2023 at 12:30 – 1:30pm ET
Since this retreat is a small (8 women) curated experience, we begin BEFORE we gather in person. In this virtual experience we will meet each other, rest, meditate, breathe deeply, and exhale. From the moment we sit down in the circle together, you feel it. The power and presence. The possibilities and prayers. The restoration begins even before we arrive to our retreat location.
In person classes + Restshops with Octavia Raheem
Experienced in person and online, each circle and practice is curated specifically by Octavia Raheem with your restoration, release, relaxation, and rejuvenation in mind and heart. Practices will include restorative yoga, yin yoga, and flow based movement as well as meditation and yoga nidra.
The company of a truly magic squad of women
We share wisdom and truth, laughter and tears, practice yoga and meditate. You’ll meet sisters and create bonds that last a lifetime in this magical place.

Three Nights of serene accommodations in rustic luxe home nestled beside an enchanting waterfall
Check in is August 17, 2023 between 4:00-5:00pm ET and we end on Sunday, August 20th, 2023 at 1:00pm ET. You will rest in one of the six bedroom suites featuring queen, full, and twin beds. Two private and three double rooms are available. There are four spacious and beautiful bathrooms in the house and they are shared. The house provides space for you to experience a combination of comfort, privacy, as well as fellowship with sister + friends old and new.
You will be covered in blankets, swaddled, and held with great care. Quite literally.
Because we are a small intimate curated group our restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra practices will be both deepened and elevated by hands on support (only with consent). I honestly can’t wait to tuck you into your rest nest. It’s one of the things I miss when I teach/lead restorative sessions online. You will be held by unrough fingers and with tender care.

60 Minute Massage
I am not playing when I say you will be R E S T O R E D during and after our retreat. Tension in the body effects the mind. Yes, a massage is included in the experience and will be scheduled for you. All you have to do is show up and lay down. Each woman will have the option of Swedish or Deep Tissue massage, tailored specifically to the areas most in need of attention. Enjoy aromatic oils and tranquility as you relax.
Group Sound Healing Session
Combining crystal bowls, gongs, Tibetan bells, and other sacred instruments, our sound therapist will guide us toward and experience of deep release and relaxation. Sound not only helps with inducing relaxation, but also has a way of moving through areas of blockage. These can be located in our physical bodies, our subtle bodies, or both. We release on all levels.
Delicious, catered, and healthy meals
All meals are fully catered by the professional staff at Elohee Retreat Center. You don’t have to do a thing except show up hungry at mealtime—our personal/ in house chef will take care of the rest! Each meal will provide options to accommodate individuals dietary needs.
Plenty of room to be quiet, rest, and chill
How often do we have space and time to be intentional and quiet with ourselves, away from the noise, asking, and loudness of the world? Here, there’s space carved out to sit by the waterfall, fireside, or one of the decks over looking the beautiful landscape and simply be quiet.

What happens when you retreat and restore: Late night chats by the fire, rest, relaxing and restorative yoga, stillness, movement, delicious food, intentional quiet time, dreams shared beneath the waterfall, morning meditation, a soul nourishing massage overlooking the forest, guided nature immersion, sound healing session, and so much more? What’s not included?
Travel to/ from Atlanta or Travel to/from retreat location. Otherwise all you need to do is pack your bags (You’ll receive an easy packing list four weeks before retreat) and show up. Can you say life changing R&R completely planned + done for you!

Retreat accommodations:
The 220 acres of undeveloped land where Elohee rests is called Landsong. It is located in the North Georgia mountains in the foothills of the Blue Ridge near the village of Sautee Nacoochee. The Elohee Center at Landsong was created to provide a retreat space in Nature to allow for self-exploration, individual growth, and mind/body healing. It is a place where Earth and Air, Fire and Water nurture wisdom both ancient and new.
The Thanksgiving House was the original structure at Elohee and is currently available for use by small private groups. With six bedrooms and four bathrooms, it provides a private like setting for 5-14 individuals. For our curated experience we limit attendance to 8. It offers two community rooms with fireplaces, a kitchen and dining room, as well as a meditation/yoga room. The outdoor patio has its own fireplace and overlooks a 100 foot waterfall and small pool.
The Thanksgiving House is nestled in a Rich Cove Forest niche which supports a wide range of trees and plants. Red maple, oak, basswood, and poplar are only a few of the types of trees growing here. Spring wildflowers and medicinal herbs flourish here. Mosses and rotting logs make the damp forest floor suitable for a wide variety of salamanders and one of the most diverse ecosystems found outside of the tropics.

If you are traveling from out of state, you will want to fly into Atlanta/Hartsfield Airport. Local or from airport, directions to the retreat center can be found here.

Prices should be compared for all of the above shuttle services, as there can be a significant
difference among them. Uber will bring people from the airport up to Elohee for less than any shuttle service, but as of now, they won’t pick up at Elohee and take people to the airport.

All leaders, assistants, and guest teachers must submit a pre screening form and negative covid antigen test within 48 hours of the start of retreat. At home testing will be provided for all facilitators and participants.
