Experience the power of stillness, quiet, and intentional silence as a way to awaken your deepest sense of power, creativity, and magic at my Spring Starshine and Clay Yoga Retreat. Join me for an all-inclusive 3-day, 2-night retreat at Elohee Center in the North Georgia Mountains March 23, 34, & 25, 2018. Elohee is a beautiful retreat center residing on 220 magical acres of undeveloped land on Bald Mountain in Sautee Nacoochee, GA (about 6 miles from Helen, GA). If you are in the Atlanta Area, you are so blessed to have this healing ground is only about an hour and 30 minute drive from Atlanta. If you are farther away, it is well worth the journey. This place is touched, full of light, and simply beautiful.

“Elohee ( EL-oh-HEE ) is a Cherokee word meaning “earth place.” We call the 220 acres of undeveloped land where Elohee rests Landsong. Elohee Center provides the perfect sanctuary for restoration and reflection. During your time here you will have the opportunity to re-connect with yourself and with nature. You will enjoy endless forest vistas and panoramic views of the North Georgia mountains, a 100 ft. waterfall and wading pool, 2+ miles of well-marked trails through fern gulley’s and stream side paths (trail map provided), the “Grand Hemlock” tree (estimated to be 400 years old), a vanishing edge reflecting pond, an outdoor hot tub, a fire ring and outdoor fireplace.

During my Spring Retreat we will live in The Thanksgiving House; a 3 story old stone cottage. It is situated next to a 100-foot waterfall and is about a 10-minute walk/gentle hike to the top of Bald Mountain. In the house, you will have free access to living and dining areas, large stone fireplace, outside patio with fireplace within sight and sound of the 100 ft. waterfall, sleeping rooms and bathrooms, and the yoga/meditation room. We will enjoy daily yoga, meditation, hiking, fresh + organic, locally sourced whenever possible, meals prepared by a professionally trained chef (gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available), and more. There will be some free time in the schedule for you to refill your body, heart, and body in whatever way you need. This all-inclusive retreat will give you the chance to restore your power and heal your magic!

Due to the intimate nature of this retreat it is limited to 9 people. We will arrive for dinner on Friday by 6:00pm and leave Sunday at 1:00pm after lunch

The Patio Room {Single w/ shared bath} $780.-Step out onto your private patio and waterfall view and feel one with nature. The Patio Room overlooks the 100 foot waterfall, includes 1 queen bed with shared bath.

Founder, Teacher, and Host

I am a Yoga Alliance experienced registered teacher (E-RYT) at the 200 hour level. I completed teacher training under the guidance of Graham Fowler and Elizabeth Nix at Peachtree Yog  a Center in 2007 and began teaching later that year. To date, I have taught over 7,500 hours of yoga in studio, corporate, and private settings. I have headlined Wanderlust Yoga Festival 108 in Atlanta as well as taught sold out crowds at Atlanta’s homegrown Dirty South Yoga Festival. I co-own Sacred Chill {West} Yoga and Meditation studio, Red Clay Wellness, LLC  and am the creator of CHILLshop®yoga, retreats, and immersions.

I hold additional certifications and specialize in restorative, yin, power, and yoga for kids+teens.

Off the mat I am a new wife, mama, avid reader, and writer. You can peep my writing style here and here.

I have an academic background in English Literature and creative writing, 10+ years of professional experience teaching writing and language arts in K-12 settings, and spent two years working in the nonprofit sector designing and implementing college preparatory programming.

What does any of this have to do with yoga?

As a yoga teacher, I communicate with my students clearly, yet poetically, reaching them on many levels.

As a retreat or corporate wellness guide I effectively employ all of my teaching, planning, and program design skills to create yoga based experiences that are carefully thought out, all inclusive, and guaranteed to inspire powerful shifts within individuals and groups. In short, I leave no detail unattended to.
